Donald Trump 45th President of the United States

To African, Native, and Muslim Americans, Women, Handicapped, and other global citizens that Donald Trump has offended before setting foot in the Oval Office... We can overcome and this article will show you how.

For the religious folks who talk about prayer, that's all well and good but please take heed to James 2:14-17 in your holy book.

"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

We must remain positive, keep our collective energy high and educate ourselves. There was a reason the ancestors of African Americans were forbidden to read; because Knowledge is Power!

Pick up a book at least once a week.. not a love story, not fiction, but books that will teach you about the true history of America and its maleficent evangelical belief system. Please don't give me the crapola about the Bible being a history book or the infallible word of God.

The fallacious argument that the Bible is the inspired word of a Divine Entity ignores some very significant historical facts:
  • The New Testament was created in the fourth century.
  • There are no original biblical manuscripts available and ancient transcripts have been translated and altered thousands of times.
  • None of the ancient creeds or reformed confessions have ever claimed that the Bible is literally the infallible or inerrant word of God.
  • The preposterous and impossible claim of biblical infallibility originated from English and American Protestants after the Protestant Reformation.
We also need to remember who we are. Since the first slave ship** arrived on the shores of America, we've been disrespected and murdered in horrific ways.

** The first British slave ship to reach the Americas was called Jesus of Lubeck. Between 1562 and 1567, Britain’s very first slave trader, John Hawkins, profited so greatly from the slave trade, that it caught the Queen’s attention. She donated the Jesus of Lubeck and another ship called … of all things … The Minion (a minion is a follower or underling of a powerful person), as an investment into Hawkins’ enterprise.

Genocide has always been the "order of the day" for the Black race, but we're still here. Also, going back to 1859, starting with abolitionist John Brown, we've always had a handful of morally upstanding Caucasian Americans willing to lay their lives on the line for the cause of African American rights, freedom and respect. In the 21st century, those supporters have multiplied greatly.

What are the "works" that we can partake of?
  • You must read and promote reading to everyone you meet, especially young people, and please practice what you preach! Doing # 2 in the bathroom, we should be reading (instead of staring at the wall or daydreaming). Over the course of one year, we could read at minimum, 50 books in the lavatory alone.
  • Start, support, or promote a book club. As often as you can, take a book with you, even if you don't read it, you want to be seen with a book because this rubs off on other people. It would be nice if more athletes and entertainers promoted the power of reading and educating yourself. One of the greatest speakers of our time, who spoke at colleges and didn't even have a HS diploma was Malcolm X.
  • Take a day off work to volunteer to read to children at a daycare center; speak to children on the elementary and middle school levels. All you have to do is make arrangements with the school beforehand and you don't have to wait for "career day."
  • No more excessive drinking (if you need alcohol to relax or have a good time, alcohol poisoning is in your future). For African Americans to extricate ourselves from the unfortunate quagmire facing us in the 21st Century, we must think clearly. Lucid thinking cannot be attained if we allow the excessive use of ethanol (the intoxicating agent in liquor, also used in most gasolines) to cloud our judgement.
  • Re-evaluate medieval religious beliefs. Albert Einstein's definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
Before the fundamentalist believer stops reading, allow me to share the biblical story of Balaam's Donkey (Numbers 22:21-30).

Balaam’s Donkey

21 Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey and went with the Moabite officials.
22 But God was very angry when he went, and the angel of the Lord stood in the road to oppose him. Balaam was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him.
23 When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with a drawn sword in his hand, it turned off the road into a field. Balaam beat it to get it back on the road.
24 Then the angel of the Lord stood in a narrow path through the vineyards, with walls on both sides.
25 When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it pressed close to the wall, crushing Balaam’s foot against it. So he beat the donkey again.
26 Then the angel of the Lord moved on ahead and stood in a narrow place where there was no room to turn, either to the right or to the left.
27 When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat it with his staff.
28 Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?”
29 Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.”
30 The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?” “No,” he said.

“What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?” Really?

If your biblical God, "opened the donkey’s mouth" to speak.. a donkey mind you, where the hell was "He" when the ancestors of African Americans were being viciously beaten with the overseers whip? "He" remained silent for centuries.

"He" remained silent during the Holocaust. "He" remained silent during the atomic bombings on Aug. 6, 1945 (Hiroshima) and again on Aug 9, 1945 (Nagasaki) when the United States - 'greatest country in the world' - dropped an atomic bomb on both of these Japanese cities. Where was "He?"

"He" was nowhere to be found because 90% of the biblical scriptures were lifted directly from Egyptian folklore and other pre-Christian literature. Because we don't read, study and research independently, we've been brainwashed to believe sacrosanct fairy tales.

In my humble opinion, Trump's election to the White House will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. We tend to "play to the level of our competition." Now that we have a person of ill-repute occupying the highest position in the world, it's time to "step up our game."
